W Maldives occupies the private island of Fesdu in North Ari Atoll and is reached by a 25-minute seaplane flight or a roughly 1.5-hour speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport. The resort reopened in 2025 after a refresh and now counts 77 overwater and beach villas, with categories including two-storey Beach Oasis villas with upper-level open-air decks, Ocean Oasis villas built on stilts with private terraces and infinity pools, and Ocean Haven villas that incorporate glass floors over the lagoon. Every villa has either direct beach or lagoon access, a private plunge pool, an outdoor rain shower and a wine fridge. Dining is spread across three restaurants and two bars, with Kitchen operating as the all-day international venue. The resort runs the brand's Whatever/Whenever service for on-request experiences, and operates a spa, gym and watersports centre. Fesdu has a house reef that sits directly off the beach and is used for snorkelling and diving, and guests also get access to Gaathafushi, a small neighbouring sandbank island used for private picnics and sunset dinners.
