The resort
An adults-only boutique hotel on the east coast of Mauritius at Palmar, near Belle Mare, about an hour's drive from the airport. Bold, colour-saturated interiors and riad-inspired architecture sit alongside a deliberately screen-free approach: rooms carry no televisions, and attention falls instead on Mauritian food, design and local encounters. Sustainability runs through the operation, with no buffets, no single-use plastics, ingredients drawn from nearby farmers, fishermen and artisans, and much of the pantry made on site.
