About Mahal
Mahal is an Indian restaurant open from 7 pm to 9.30 pm and closed on Sunday and Thursday, with a resort casual dress code. Carved woodwork and artworks set the room, and tables are indoors or outdoors under the trees.
Dishes include jinga tandoor (marinated jumbo prawns), thali platters to share, vindaloo, biryani, freshly baked naan, Madras fish curry and a Goan hot and sour prawn curry served with steamed basmati rice. The lassis are a sweet rosewater one, a salted namkeen with roasted cumin and mint, and a moru buttermilk with cumin, curry leaves and mustard seed.
At Mahal, the aroma of spice-scented dishes greets you at the door. Jinga tandoor jumbo prawns arrive alongside Thali platters to share, vibrant vindaloo and fragrant biryanis — an authentic Indian restaurant rich with flavour and warmth.
