Kooddoo Kandu is a channel dive in the north of Huvadhoo (Gaafu Alifu) Atoll beside Kooddoo island, known locally as a shark site. Divers enter on the north or south side of the pass and let the current carry them; grey reef sharks, the occasional hammerhead and other pelagics gather where the current concentrates, while green turtles and rays frequent the southern reef. It is a current-dependent dive best suited to experienced divers.
