Sun Siyam Vilu Reef will mark its 28th anniversary with a three-day event titled A New Rhythm of the Reef, running from 28 to 30 October 2026. The festivities serve as a formal introduction to the resort’s latest amenities, the YAYA Beach Club and the Italian-themed restaurant, Tuscany. Established in 1998 as the inaugural property in the Sun Siyam portfolio, the Dhaalu Atoll retreat remains known for its intimate atmosphere and commitment to relaxed Maldivian hospitality.
The programme features an array of international talent, including DJ duo The Flag Twins, vocalist Zhu Zhihao, and Italian chef Fatjon Goga, who will oversee culinary experiences at the new dining venue. Guests can also participate in a curated wellness schedule, featuring sound healing, slow-living workshops, and lagoon-based yoga sessions led by visiting practitioners. The event concludes with a series of poolside performances and collaborative dining events, highlighting the next phase of the resort’s ongoing evolution.
