This year’s event coincides with recent research highlighting the significant economic impact of manta ray tourism, which contributes hundreds of millions of dollars to the Maldivian economy annually. By emphasizing the ecological and financial value of these animals, the resort aims to bridge the gap between tourism and marine preservation.
