Milaidhoo Maldives will host a two-day culinary residency featuring four-Michelin-star chef Daniel Galmiche on 5–6 September 2026. The Baa Atoll resort, known for its secluded villas and focus on authentic island experiences, will provide the backdrop for a series of events highlighting the intersection of French technique and Maldivian produce.
The program commences with a visit to the local island of Kendhoo, where the chef will source fresh fish, followed by a workshop at the resort’s garden to gather seasonal herbs. Guests are invited to a cocktail reception at the Compass Pool Bar on the evening of 5 September. The residency concludes on 6 September with an exclusive five-course dinner for 15 guests, priced at USD 265++ per person. This menu will feature Galmiche’s signature contemporary French style, incorporating local culinary traditions and ingredients into his refined approach to fine dining.
