Kaani Grand Seaview is a four-storey guesthouse on Maafushi, a local island roughly 25 kilometres south of Malé in South Malé Atoll. The property faces the channel directly opposite Bikini Beach, the designated swimsuit-permitted stretch that made Maafushi a focal point for mid-market Maldives travel. Accommodation is spread across 78 rooms, ranging from standard interior rooms to Ocean View rooms with private balconies. Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with a minibar, in-room safe, and a flat-screen television with satellite channels, along with complimentary wireless internet throughout the building. The in-house restaurant sits at street level facing the lagoon and serves a rotating menu of Maldivian, South Asian, and Western dishes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional facilities include a spa treatment area, a compact fitness room, and a meeting room used for small groups and dive briefings. Because the guesthouse sits on an inhabited island rather than a private resort, guests share the island with the local community and excursions are operated through independent dive centres and speedboat operators. Typical activities booked through the front desk include reef snorkelling, sandbank picnics, whale-shark and manta trips to Ari Atoll, and half-day fishing outings. Transfers from Velana International Airport are handled by public ferry or private speedboat, the latter taking roughly 30 minutes.
