About Alesara Guest House.

Alesara Guest House is a small locally-run guesthouse on Thoddoo, an inhabited island that sits administratively within Alif Alif (North Ari) Atoll in the north-western arc of the Maldives. The property is roughly 0.2 miles from the centre of the village and a short walk from Thoddoo Beach, set in the north-western zone of the island among the vegetation that covers much of Thoddoo. Guestrooms are air-conditioned with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi, and the guesthouse offers a garden for use by residents. Thoddoo itself is about two square kilometres in size and is known as the agricultural hub of the Maldives, producing watermelons, papayas, bananas and vegetables that supply many nearby resorts, which gives the island a rural, farming-village feel rather than a resort atmosphere. Velana International Airport is approximately 69 kilometres away, with public speedboats running directly to the island on a typical journey time of around one hour. Because Thoddoo is a local inhabited island, modest dress is expected in village areas, with swimwear limited to the designated bikini beach on the northern side. Guesthouse activities usually include snorkelling trips, whale shark and manta ray excursions, and island tours.
