A pinnacle (thila) in the southwest of Noonu Atoll, known locally as Vavathi Kurohli Thila, named for its Christmas-tree profile of widening ledges and overhangs descending from roughly 12 m to about 30 m. The overhangs hold macro life (nudibranchs, shrimp, crabs, lobster) while jacks, sharks and turtles patrol the reef, which is draped in soft coral. Best December to May; June is often too rough.
