Zipline Maldives has been honored with the title of World’s Most Beautiful Zipline at the 2026 Global Brand Awards. Held at the official residence of the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, the ceremony recognized the attraction for its innovative integration of high-altitude adventure and the country’s natural scenery. The accolade was presented to the Osvana Group by the seventh President of Sri Lanka.
Spanning 428 metres, the attraction serves as the nation’s inaugural island-to-island zipline, linking Maafushi to Vahmaafushi Picnic Island. By suspending guests over the Indian Ocean, the route offers a unique vantage point of the archipelago’s signature turquoise waters. This recognition highlights a broader shift in the regional tourism sector, which is increasingly moving toward experiential activities that complement the traditional resort model. By blending thrill-seeking with the iconic Maldivian landscape, the project aims to establish a new standard for destination-based attractions.
