Five properties within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio have secured top honors at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026. The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands; The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort; W Maldives; JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa; and Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa collectively swept all seven award categories. These accolades recognize excellence across diverse criteria, including villa design, spa facilities, marine conservation, and service leadership.
The JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, located on Vagaru Island in the Shaviyani Atoll, was specifically highlighted for its family-oriented amenities and pool design. The resort, which features 60 expansive beach and overwater villas, earned the third spot in the Best Resorts for Families category. Other notable successes include W Maldives retaining its title as the Best House Reef for the third year running and The Ritz-Carlton Spa being named the Best Resort Spa in the Maldives.
