Finolhu is set to host two exclusive dining events this September featuring the boutique New Zealand labels of Sato Wines. The collaboration highlights the biodynamic, minimal-intervention viticulture of founders Yoshiaki and Kyoko Sato, who transitioned from international finance to winemaking in Central Otago. These intimate evenings will showcase a series of curated pairings designed to reflect the unique character of each vintage.
The first event takes place on 23 September at Kanusan, the resort’s signature overwater restaurant, followed by a second dinner on 27 September at the island’s casual Crab Shack. Known for its expansive two-kilometre sandbank and diverse culinary offerings, Finolhu provides a distinct backdrop for these sessions, which aim to marry global winemaking expertise with the resort’s established gastronomic creativity.
