This selection highlights the restaurant to a global network of discerning travelers and industry professionals, further cementing its reputation within the prestigious 50 Best ecosystem. Located at The Marina at CROSSROADS Maldives since 2020, the venue is defined by its focus on high-heat, live-fire cooking.
The recognition is based on votes from an independent panel of thousands of global hospitality experts, including critics, chefs, and food writers, rather than a formal application process. The restaurant’s identity is centered on Chef Dharshan Munidasa’s custom Ignis Maximus grill, which achieves extreme temperatures to emphasize a minimalist approach to steak preparation. This accolade represents the third concept by Chef Munidasa to be acknowledged by the 50 Best organization, following his previous international successes with Nihonbashi and Ministry of Crab.
