The island
Why Rasdhoo.
Rasdhoo is the administrative capital of North Ari and one of the great diving local islands of the Maldives. It sits on the rim of its own small atoll — a ring that also holds the uninhabited islands of Madivaru and Veligandu — which is exactly why divers travel here from across the world.
The signature is the dawn patrol: a pre-sunrise boat to Madivaru's outer wall, where scalloped hammerhead sharks cruise the blue before the day warms up.
