Villa Buruni Beach is a small Maldivian-run guesthouse on Buruni, an inhabited local island in Thaa Atoll roughly 180 kilometres south of Malé. Excursions offered by the guesthouse include half-day trips to uninhabited picnic islands about twenty minutes away, reef snorkelling and seasonal outings to swim with manta rays and whale sharks.
