eMzaz Blue Lagoon is a small boutique property on Rasgetheemu Island in Raa Atoll, in the northern Maldives. Access is by a roughly 45-minute domestic flight to Ifuru or Dharavandhoo followed by a short speedboat transfer of around 15 to 20 minutes, placing the property well away from the busier Malé-region resorts. Rather than a fenced resort island, eMzaz operates as a guesthouse-style stay on a local island, giving guests direct contact with the community and a more modest, residential setting than the large overwater resorts that dominate the Maldives. Accommodation is limited to a handful of air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms and Wi-Fi, and the on-site dining offering is supplemented by nearby local cafés and the well-regarded SEA Edge de Grill and Bar. Typical activities include reef snorkelling, sandbank trips, dolphin excursions and island-hopping in Raa Atoll, one of the country\u0027s better regions for manta sightings.
