Ari Grand Hotel & Spa is a small locally operated property on Dhangethi, an inhabited island in South Ari Atoll. The building sits about 200 metres from Dhangethi Beach and roughly two minutes on foot from the island harbour. Accommodation is limited to 21 rooms, all with private balcony, air-conditioning, flat-screen television, minibar, safe, kettle, desk, and an en-suite shower bathroom. An on-site restaurant serves halal, vegetarian, and vegan meals for lunch and dinner, with a standard continental and cooked breakfast included for most room rates. Shared facilities include a year-round outdoor pool, a sun terrace, a garden, a small spa area, and a designated private stretch of beach for guest use. The front desk operates 24 hours and handles currency exchange, room service, and bookings for excursions. Because Dhangethi sits at the edge of the Ari Atoll marine channels, the property is used primarily as a base for snorkelling trips, scuba diving with local operators, whale-shark searches in the southern Ari corridor, and sandbank day trips. Transfers from Velana International Airport are by domestic flight to Maamigili followed by a short speedboat hop, or by direct speedboat from Malé taking around 90 minutes depending on conditions. The property operates as an island guesthouse rather than a resort.
