Eri Maldives in the North Malé Atoll is highlighting its accessible house reef, which features four entry points for snorkelers and divers of all skill levels. The reef is home to a stable population of marine life, including various shark species, rays, and hawksbill turtles. The resident dive team has cataloged 14 individual turtles, and guests are invited to participate in the ongoing identification project by naming any newly discovered turtles.
The resort’s marine offerings extend beyond the immediate reef, with seasonal excursions to Bodu Hithi Thila between December and April to observe manta rays at local cleaning stations. Additionally, nocturnal guided dives and snorkeling sessions provide opportunities to view the reef’s predatory species, such as moray eels and trevallies, during their active hunting hours. These varied underwater experiences are designed to encourage repeated exploration of the local ecosystem, allowing guests to observe the behavioral patterns of the resident marine community over time.
